Associate professor in economics

Marion Mauchaussée defended her thesis in economics in 2022 at the Lille University. In her thesis she is studying “the margins of employment in the civil service”. Using databases (employment surveys and information systems on public service employees) and semi-directive interviews, she analyses employers’ management of non-permanent civil servants, as well as the profiles and career paths of these employees. After a postdoctoral fellowship at CEET-CNAM, during which she worked on labour market movements (using the FARE/FICUS, BTS and MMO databases), she is now a senior lecturer at the Catholic University of Lille. Her research continues to focus mainly on the labour market. She is continuing her work on employment practices in the public sector and labour movements in the private labour market. But she is also incorporating an environmental dimension into her research, by analyzing the dynamics of job mobility towards green industries.
