Sadia Benamrouz-Vanneste is a researcher at the Faculty of Management, Economics and Science (FGES) and a member of the Lille Interdisciplinary Transitions Laboratory (LITL). She worked for over ten years in parasitology within the ECOPHIP team (Ecology and Physiopathology of Intestinal Protozoa – U1019 – UMR 9017 – CIIL – Centre d’Infection et d’Immunité de Lille – Univ. Lille, CNRS, Inserm, CHU Lille, Institut Pasteur de Lille), where she carried out research into the epidemiology, transmission and pathophysiology of the protozoan parasite Cryptosporidium, combining various molecular, cellular and omics approaches. Since 2022, she has extended her research to the study of soil microbial biodiversity in various anthropized environments, taking over responsibility for the FGES “Ecology and Biodiversity” team, which makes up LITL’s “Human-Biodiversity Interaction” group.
