Professor in Economics

Véronique Flambard is an economist at the Lille Interdisciplinary Laboratory on Transitions (LITL) and a professor at the Catholic University of Lille, at the Faculty of Management, Economics and Sciences (FGES). She conducts research in applied microeconomics in the field of the local and urban economy and the environment, particularly in relation to the evaluation of public policies. In her work, she takes into account the impact of choices and attitudes, particularly with regard to risk, on the effectiveness of public policies.
She is also interested in individual and collective behavior, whether influenced by financial and non-financial incentives, the way of presenting a policy (“framing”) or nudges.
